To our customers,
For those of us who live and work in the Northeast Kingdom, the Northern Forests of Vermont mean more than just trees to harvest. The people who live here are as diverse as the ecosystems of the area. "Working in the woods" and managing woodlots and timber land is just as much a way of life here as dairy farming, deer camp, and ice fishing. At Sylvacurl, we are interested in "The Dual Bottom Line" approach to our business. This means not just profits, but also employee health, environmental responsibility, and giving back to our community. In this spirit, we will include on this page articles of interest concerning forestry issues that we feel are important to our friends and neighbors, our business, and important to helping our customers understand why using Sylvacurl benefits the long term health and viability of our forests.
